What do we know about planning, conducting, and evaluating high quality professional development, and about what Maryland educators have done to address these critically important aspects of professional development in ways that are not only workable, but excellent models and approaches?
- the workability challenges of planning, providing, and evaluating high quality teacher professional development are addressed by members of the Maryland Professional Development Council, and
- a commentary is made on the significance in the national arena of Maryland’s responses to questions about what makes high quality professional development workable.
